Prime Minister Modi has created two committees for the development of the economic downturn and creation of employment in the country, under which he will chaired by himself. These panels will take immediate action to create economic growth and employment generation. Sources linked to the committee, News 18, said that big steps will be taken by the panel.

Five High-profile Ministers

Under the Prime Minister, the Cabinet's Investment and Growth Committee has been constituted. The committee includes PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, MSME minister Nitin Gadkari, Finance Minister Nirmala Saharatnam and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.

Employment creation

Prime Minister Modi has prepared a 10-member High Power Committee for employment generation. This committee will work for skill development and job creation. In this committee, Amit Shah, Nirmala Sahtaran, Piyush Goyal, Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokriyal Nishank, Petroleum and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Skill and Entrepreneurship Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, State Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar, and Harideep Singh Puri. There are labor and employment and urban housing accounts, as per Ganges and Puri.

Budget can be affected

The instructions given by these two committees can be seen in the next Union Budget. This is the first committee appointed by Prime Minister Modi during the second term of the government. This committee will prepare international and national level plans.

Poor economic rate

According to government data released on Friday, the country's economic growth rate was 5.8% during January-March 2018-19, while China's economic growth was 6.4%. This was the country's worst economic growth rate in the last four and a half years. According to statistics, during the year 2017-18, the country's unemployment rate has reached 6.1 percent, which was the highest unemployment rate in the last 45 years.
